"Nepali Week cannot hold without sponsors" Rozeena Dhungana, sub-leader of Nepali week and in charge of sponsors said.

On Nov. 17, during the break time between second and third period, unfamiliar music was played on campus.  The opening event of Nepali Week had started. This year, Nepali Week  held from Nov.17 to 21.

Purunima, Alfa Beta and Kyodai remittance are main sponsors for Nepali week. Purunima is Nepal restaurant in Beppu. Purunima is a big sponsor and supports Nepali Week from first Nepali week. Sponsor support for financial to the organization of Nepali Week, traditional clothes, and materials of Nepali Week. Those things are expensive, so students of Nepali Week cannot buy them.  This year, Nepali Week uses the money for clothes of performance mostly.

To gather sponsor is not easy. Since Nepali week has started, core members go to the people or company to ask about sponsors. At first, Nepali Week organizer decide who to ask. They decided to ask company or group which is related to Nepal. They talked about the contents of Nepali week and purpose of money which was given by sponsors. Of course not all people who were asked to be a sponsor by Nepali Week Organization decided to be a sponsor. However, most people accept to be a sponsor of Nepali week.
For sponsor, Nepali Week give back several things instead of financial support.
Nepali Week organizer invite sponsor to Grand Show as VIP which is the good seat and any other performance during the Nepali Week. Grand Show is a show which most weeks have, and week perform drama, dance, song fashion show. It held at millennium hall on Friday night mostly. Also, Nepali Week organize put sponsors name on pomplet and PR company to people.

Core member and some participants do party after Nepali week at Purunima and thank Purunima. This has been done since Purunima start to support Nepali week. Purunima is supporting every year.
