Recommendation of Chinese restaurants in Oita

In Beppu, there are many kinds of restaurant. Korean, Chinese, Thai and of course Japanese restaurants are there because of APU. Many graduated APU students have own restaurant in Beppu. However, many people are unable to make a decision which restaurant people should go. So an international student Xu Weilin, third-year student from China, recommends three Chinese restaurants.

First, she recommends Panda’s in Mochigahama. The restaurant is famous for APU student because it can be found easily. It located along the main street there. Panda’s sells Chinese food and bubble teas. Especially, bubble tea is popular food in Panda’s. There are many types of bubble teas. There are counter and table. In addition, take away is available, so many people take away bubble teas.

The second one is Gahou near the Tokiwa Beppu. She was recommended by her friend at the first time. “Store looks old, but the inside is very delicious”, she said. As she said, in front of Gahou looks like a restaurant which already closed, but inside is quite clean. It looks traditional Chinese restaurant in Japan. There are also counter and table.

These two restaurants are in Beppu, but the next one is in Oita city. She recommends Lipo. The restaurant is in Oita Century Hotel. The restaurant serves some course dishes, and these are quite expensive. Most expensive one costs around 10,000 yen for dinner. “Name of the stories is special because it is named after famous points in ancient China”, she said. 

Panda’s, Gahou, and Lipo are her recommendation of the restaurant. Most of Chinese restaurants serve a different style of dishes from China. For example, Gahou has a dish called “Darumen”. It is a kind of noodle, but it is actually traditional Japanese food. However, she doesn’t care about the difference, and she enjoy the difference.

Her friends often come to Beppu, so she normally goes to a restaurant with her friends. Before she is going to a restaurant, she often searches on the internet or asks from her friend in APU. There are many Chinese students, and there are many restaurants in Beppu. Everyone has different recommend restaurants. Because many restaurants look old, people hardly enter them for the first time. So people should ask many people’s recommend restaurants.

American Thanksgiving Day at AP House

They explained that Thanksgiving is American holiday that make dinner for families .
