"Miyabi" Enjoy Your Food Life in APU

 APU is located at an altitude of around 330 meters. If you are hungry, you must eat something in this university. Fortunately, our university has many shop, CO-OP, Pacific-Cafe, and Cafeteria, and these shops give us variable products and dishes. So, you can enjoy eating “to some extent” However, you will get bored against their unchanged menus in a year. Although there are ethnic menus and they change frequently, these foods sold out soon. Is there anything to solve this situation? You can find one solution near the fountain. That shop is Miyabi, people call it Cheese Chicken.

 What is Miyabi?
Miyabi is the first shop which began to sell around the fountain six years ago, and it is also known by the name of Cheese chicken. Masahiro Fujiwara is the owner of this shop, and he prepares products by only himself. He said, “At first I couldn’t sell so many, but now I sell 180 kg of chickens by two days. When it comes to Cheese chicken, I normally sell above 200 pieces. So, I always prepare products except for Tuesday and Friday.” According to his saying, he kept his meat shop before he began to sell chicken in APU, and his know-how to make chickens comes from this experience.

Most popular product, and the key to good taste
Miyabi is also known as its huge variety of taste. So, whether you like spicy food, strong taste, oily food or not, you can choose products which you want to eat. Perhaps, this might be one reason why this shop is popular. By the way, do you know what is the most popular one? As you already know, it is Cheese chicken. it is made of one chicken block, and there are creamy cheese and Shiso leaves inside. So, you can enjoy the very rich taste. Fujiwara said, “Cheese chicken is the most popular product, and nowadays I sell more than 200 pieces a week.” He also answered the question "What is the key to good taste?" He said "There is no secret recipe, but I used to make seasoned meets when I kept a meet shop. this experience may be the key."

In the future
Miyabi normally opens in Tuesday and Friday. So if you haven't eaten them yet, how about eating next time? One APU student said “This shop’s chicken is taste good, but I don’t want to eat every day. However, when least expected, I want to eat it again”. Fujiwara said “First, I sold meats in the supermarket which was next to Kamegawa station, but one day I got an offer to sell in APU from APU office. I am sure that the reason why office contacted me is that some APU students tell office about my shop”. From past to present, his shop and APU students have had the tiny but strong bond. His chicken’s taste will attract a lot of APU students in the future.

They explained that Thanksgiving is American holiday that make dinner for families . This year they don't live with their families, so they held this party to make some foods to people who took care of you like their floor mate of AP house and their friends. They made stuffing, mashed potatoes, fruit salad, egg salad, vegetable salad, popcorn and green beans. They bought turkey and gave their friends all of dishes.
